District 33 has enormous economic assets: the enduring beauty of our National Forests, our generations of ranching and agriculture, our mountain air, vistas and art scenes inspiring tourism in the mountains and gentle rolling hills. With the hands to do the work, we have all the materials for a strong economy. The goal isn't to import someone else's vision of development; it's to invest in what's already working.

What Liam will do:

Invest in rural broadband. Reliable internet is table stakes for economic competitiveness. Liam will push to deploy unspent federal broadband funds faster and hold providers accountable for rural build-out timelines.

Support small business and agriculture. Reduce regulatory friction for small ranches, farms, and Main Street businesses. Support access to state small business development grants and market access programs for agricultural producers.

Tourism and outdoor economy. The Sacramento Mountains, Ruidoso, Mescalero, and White Sands draw visitors from across the country. Liam will advocate for road and trail investments, updated state tourism promotion, and fire mitigation funding that protects the landscapes visitors and residents depend on.

Workforce development pipelines. Partner New Mexico State University, Eastern New Mexico University, and local high schools with regional employers to build apprenticeship and certification pathways in healthcare, skilled trades, and technology.

Champion our Working People to keep the next generations coming back here, Liam will be a consistent, bipartisan advocate for our working people in Santa Fe, supporting workforce housing, small business contracts, and infrastructures that serve both private and public sector employees.
